Hump Day Hit 16/05/12 Kids of 88 – Tucan

Wow, we weren’t sure what to expect when Kids of 88 announced a new single. Now we can’t stop playing it.

The new single Tucan takes you somewhere as does the video. The track also features guest vocals by Alisa Xayalith from The Naked and Famous. This is the first single from their upcoming album ModernLove which might be out by July. There is a cool interview with Sam from Kids of 88 over at our friend Connor Nester’s blog.

This weeks Hump Day Hit comes from the legendary Beastie Boys.

It was really sad to hear of Adam Yauch (MCA)’s death this last week which is the end of The Beastie Boys line up. Adam and the Beastie Boys have contributed a lot to Hip Hop, culture, and human rights awareness.

This is one of our favourites tracks from The Beastie Boys called ‘Hey Ladies’.
