Today, like many others around the world we decided to freeze the clock at the alliterative time of 11:11:11. To avoid missing it by a split second, I filmed Tom’s Casio. The build up was tense, the celebrations continue. See you at 12:12:12 next year. Maybe we’ll film the Big Ben or something. Check out the video below!

The Mount Flea Market

The new Mount Maunganui Flea market has it’s opening day, this coming Sunday, (November 6th). I’ve heard there’s going to be some cheap bikes for sale and baking and pre-loved clothes and all sorts of other goods. Oh and also, if you have old stuff you no longer need like your basketball card collection from ’95 or sister’s old bike, you can get in touch with Claire and set up your very own stall. Make sure you drop by, this Sunday at the Mount Maunganui Senior Citizens club, opposite Babette Café/Pizza Hut, Maunganui Rd, from 9am. Yeoooow!

Thanks Mount Launch Party

This Friday Night 21st at Major Toms come along for the Thanks Mount Opening Party.
Happy Hour from 10 – 11pm thanks to our favourites Havana Club and Stoneleigh and of course Major Toms.
DPTR CLB DJs will be knocking out some tunes from 10pm
We are opening in a new location (see the blog below) which will be opening it’s doors this Friday so come have a shop and pick up some new goodness for a good night out.

New Mount Shop

We are opening in our new space on Maunganui road this Friday 21st. Some of you Mount locals may remember the store Island Style (227 Maunganui Road) which has supplied many a good local back in the days, so it is a privilege to be at this site. Make sure you come along and check it out.
There will also be a launch party that night which we will tell you about real soon, so save the date. Here’s a little sneak peak.
