When a hero comes along

We’ve had a huge swell come through the Mount this week which was good for surfers and spectators but some people got a bit carried away. Local lad Cam Neate who was running thanks online has moved on to being a freelance filmer and part time good samaritan. He made Herald headlines yesterday for saving a British tourist who was swept over rocks in the huge swell and was heading out to sea. He’ll be taking time out from life saving for some autographs at Thanks Mount at 12.30 today.
