Damaged Goods Zine – Issue 3
May 13, 2013
We are a week late on this sorry but if you haven’t picked up Issue 3 of the the Damaged Goods Zine we highly recommend it. Here’s some more info and a teaser vid below if you have don’t your research. Get it online here.

Damaged Goods Zine is an independent, New Zealand, surf-culture magazine.
Damaged Goods have produced a stunning third issue, with writing and outstanding photography tuned to the most discerning critic and surf enthusiast.
This magazine delivers us an interview feature with the guru of channel bottom surfboards, Allan Byrne. It takes us to the celtic seas of Eire, then on a journey through the best images summer had to offer. We learn about the threat of seabed mining from Tony Baker, interview Ruban Nielson from Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Husk and NZ artist Liam Gerrard, a man who paints the kind of portraits birds fly into. We see what tools are needed for Kai Neville to create his landmark films and talk to him about his latest collaborative project What Youth. Balance this with superlative photography and you have yourself a very tidy and memorable surf-centric magazine that will do nicely on your coffee table.
